Since we're moving Xia and I have been organizing and throwing away crap.  A few days ago I was on the computer checking some old archive discs to see if we still needed them.  Above are two gems that I found. 

I don't know whose birthday that is, but since it's a pink cake, it's probably my sister's birthday.  That picture was taken at my parents old apartment between 43rd & 44th Street on Park Ave. in Union City.   In the background you can see the Sunoco sign from the gas station.  If you haven't been there lately, the building and gas station are now completely gone.  Now for a low price of $400,000, you can own a condo there. 

On a side note, it makes me extremely sad going back to the old neighborhood.  It has obviously deteriorated in the last 10 - 12 years.  I asked my uncle, who's a cop there, how the crime rate has been since he started 13 years ago.  He confirmed my guess that crime has been steadily going up.  One problem the city has, only 18% of homeowners actually live there.  That is no good.

The second picture is from my final days in high school.  I think I cut class and stumbled onto this gathering in the cafeteria.  I like the picture alot and haven't seen it in years.   It seem staged, but I guarantee it was spur- of - the moment.
